Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

• Account details: your email address and, if you add them or sign in with Google, your name and profile photo. We also create one-time sign-in codes that we email to you.
• Content you submit: photos, floor plans, text instructions and the options you choose, plus the images and videos we generate for you and the projects you organize them in.
• Credits and usage: your credit balance and history, the designs you create and when you create them.
• Payment details: payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive your plan, purchase history and payment status; we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and the cookies that keep you signed in. We use IP addresses for security and to limit abuse.
• Analytics: through Google Analytics, which pages are visited, how you arrived (for example the campaign link you clicked), the device and approximate location, and actions such as starting a design or completing a purchase. We do not send your name, email or photos to Google Analytics.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the Service (create your designs, store your projects and keep you signed in); to process payments and add credits; to send service emails such as sign-in codes, receipts and account notices; to prevent fraud and abuse and keep the Service secure; to understand and improve the product; and to comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not show third-party advertising, and we do not use your photos, prompts or results to train our own AI models.

3. AI processing

To create a design, we send the photos, prompts and options you submit to third-party AI model providers, which produce the image or video. We send only what is needed to create your result. These providers process your content under their own terms and policies. Avoid uploading photos that show people, documents or other information you do not want processed.

4. Storage and retention

Your uploads, results, account and project records are kept in secure cloud storage run by our cloud hosting and storage providers. We keep them while your account is open. You can delete individual results and projects at any time, which deletes their files. When you delete your account from your Profile page, we delete your profile, projects, uploads, results and remaining credits. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing contact@homedesignly.app.

We keep payment and invoice records, and limited security logs, for as long as tax, accounting and fraud-prevention laws require. Our payment processor keeps its own payment records under its privacy policy.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit how they may use it:

• Cloud hosting and storage providers: running the Service, its database and file storage.
• Payment processor: payments, subscriptions and invoices.
• Email delivery provider: sending sign-in codes and other service emails.
• Google: sign-in with Google, and website analytics (Google Analytics).
• Third-party AI model providers: creating your designs, as described above.

6. Links to your files

Your uploads and results are stored privately and opened through links that contain a long random code, so they cannot be guessed. Anyone you give such a link to can open that file, so share links with care.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect your account; they are always on. Your language and theme choices are saved in your browser. Google Analytics cookies measure how the Service is used. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland they are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner; elsewhere they are on by default. Wherever you are, you can turn them off or on at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, which also deletes the analytics cookies already set. Advertising cookies are not used.

8. Your rights and choices

You can view and edit your name and photo in your Profile, export your results by downloading them, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email contact@homedesignly.app. We will reply within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and providers with strong security practices. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please keep your email account safe, because it is how you sign in.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
