Small Living Room with a Floating Media Console

Small living room ideas

A wall-hung walnut console under the TV leaves the floor visible all the way to the wall, so the room reads larger. A sofa on tapered legs and a slim floor lamp keep the mid-century look light.

Get this look

  • Hang the console so you can see floor beneath it; it looks lighter than one on the floor.
  • Choose furniture on legs throughout the room.
  • Run cables inside the wall or in a cover painted the wall colour.
