Small Bedroom with a Loft Bed

Small bedroom ideas

A white loft bed over a built-in desk and shelves doubles the use of a small bedroom's floor. Pale grey walls and a slim wall lamp keep the raised bed from feeling heavy.

  • Check ceiling height first: you need room to sit up in bed.
  • Paint a loft bed the wall colour so it blends in.
  • Light the desk area separately from the bed.
