Sage green home office before and after: only the walls changed
A small home office with dull beige walls, repainted sage green with the paint color visualizer. Nothing else changed: the white trim, the window shade, the desk, the bookcase and the floor are the same.
Try this on your roomThe starting room
The study in the starting photo is tidy and well lit, but the beige walls are close in tone to the wood floor and the furniture, so the room looks flat and a little dull.

Materials and finishes
- Sage green wall paint
- White trim
- Oak furniture
- Wood floor
Who it suits
Small rooms with warm wood floors and furniture, where beige walls blend in. A muted sage gives the wood something to stand against without making the room dark; it reads deeper on walls that get less light, as on the left wall here.
Limitations
- Furniture sizes and positions are visual approximations, not measurements.
- Colors on screen differ from real paint and materials. Check them with physical samples.
- Results depend on the photo: its light, its angle and what is in the room.
- The sage asked for is a preset color; in the photo's light the shaded wall reads darker than the lit one.

Frequently asked questions
Why did only the walls change?
The paint color visualizer repaints the surfaces you choose and leaves the rest of the photo as it is. Here the walls changed and the trim was set to stay as it was.
Is this a real home?
No. The starting photo is a sample room we generated to test the tool, as the note under the image says. The result is what the tool made from it, without retouching.
