A soft chinoiserie-style paper on the ceiling turns the dining room’s fifth wall into the feature. Plain painted walls and a simple table keep the pattern from overwhelming.

Diesen Look nachmachen
- Paper the ceiling and paint the walls in a colour from the paper.
- Choose a pattern that reads well from below, with no obvious up or down.
- Hang a pendant with a fabric shade so light falls on the table, not the paper.
