Small Living Room with Built-ins

Ideen für kleine Wohnzimmer

A narrow living room gains storage without losing floor: shelves wrap the window, a bench seat sits beneath it and a slim sofa faces a wall-mounted TV. Pale walls and one rug keep it open.

  • Build storage up the walls and around the window instead of adding cabinets on the floor.
  • Choose a sofa on legs so you can see floor underneath; the room looks bigger.
  • Paint the shelves the wall colour so they disappear.
