Japandi Bedroom with a Tatami Platform

Japandi-Schlafzimmer

A raised tatami-style platform with a white linen mattress makes the floor the bed in this Japandi room. Sliding paper screens and a low oak table keep it simple.

  • A platform can hold storage drawers underneath.
  • Keep bedding plain so the textures show.
  • Use a tray on the platform instead of a nightstand.
