English Country Bedroom
A small floral wallpaper runs up the walls and over a sloping ceiling, around a painted iron bed and a skirted dressing table. An old chest of drawers and a jug of garden flowers finish the country-house look.

- Paper the ceiling too in a small attic room; it hides awkward angles.
- Pick one antique, a chest or a wardrobe, and build the room around it.
- Use a quilt or eiderdown instead of a plain duvet.
